The Extended Care of Sayre Memorial Hospital invites you to visit and see what makes us different from the rest.  The Extended Care has ten large, private rooms.  Each room includes complementary phone and cable TV and delicious breakfast, lunch and supper.  A microwave, small refrigerator, extra phone line and Internet access can also be added at the resident’s cost.  Personalization of the rooms is encouraged with the inclusion of personal furniture and pictures, a hospital bed and other necessary hospital equipment are furnished.   

A friendly, caring environment is maintained by a devoted staff of nurses and an activity program that includes a variety of motivational activities to meet the resident’s mental, physical and spiritual needs.  Activities such as, dominos, bingo, devotions, exercise, crafts, gardening, parties, programs and much more keep the resident involved and offer several options.  The activities are tailored to meet their wants and needs while allowing the resident to make their own choices.   

New friendships are started and old ones are re-kindled. 

The Extended Care provides a home-like environment with excellent care.  Doctors and nurses are only a step away to ensure that the individual’s every need is met.   Individualized services and amenities make us different from the rest and at the heart of it is the way we care!
